Your monthly donation helps:
Elderly people
We provide aid to the elderly who live in difficult life circumstances through supplying basic life necessities, firewood, hot meal delivery, home assistance, daily and half-day care and organisation of volunteer support. In this way we contribute to the preservation of their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Persons and families at risk of poverty
Through humanitarian aid programs, we provide food, hygiene supplies, clothing, shoes and other basic life necessities to people and families in a difficult financial situation. This helps meet their basic needs and alleviate the effects of poverty.
People with disabilities and children with developmental difficulties
We provide support to adults and children with disabilities through transport and accompaniment, lending of medical and orthopaedic aids, daily activities, delivery of medicines and other forms of assistance tailored to their needs.
Children and young people
We provide children and young people from families at risk of poverty with help in the form of school supplies, basic life necessities and special occasion presents, and we organise educational, cultural, sports and other activities that contribute to their development, inclusion in the community and the creation of equal opportunities. We also provide support to children who are undergoing hospital treatment.
Homeless people and people at risk of homelessness
We provide meals, accommodation in shelters and overnight facilities, basic life necessities, and psychosocial support to help people in a situation of homelessness overcome difficult life circumstances.
In crisis
The Croatian Red Cross provides aid to population affected by natural disasters, large-scale accidents, humanitarian crises and other extraordinary events in Croatia and abroad. Thanks to regular donations, we can rapidly provide food, water, temporary housing, hygiene supplies, psychosocial support and other forms of emergency aid.
