Executive President of the Croatian Red Cross

The Governing Board appoints the Executive President of the Croatian Red Cross for a four-year term. After the end of the term Executive President, who is a professional, can be re-elected. The Executive President: represents the Croatian Red Cross, is vested with the power of signature for the Croatian Red Cross, issues orders and manages the professional staff. The Executive President makes alone all decisions in case of emergency. The Executive President substitutes for the President or the Vice-Presidents and is vested with all their powers in case of their absence or inability to perform their duties.

Dr. Nenad Javornik has been the Executive President since 1991.
