Croatian Red Cross staff member, psychologist Sanja Pupačić is in Kyrgyzstan as a delegate of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. She is working together with the staff and volunteers of the Kyrgyz Red Crescent on developing psycho-social support programme.

Croatian Red Cross Week
|
|
Croatian Red Cross Week is marked from 8 to 15 May. Red Cross branches all over the country organize various public events whose aim is to raise awareness on the importance of the Red Cross and introduce the public with the activities that the Croatian Red Cross conducts in local communities. Central event is the National Youth Competition.

Volunteers Aljosa Ladasic, Jasminko Kranjcec and Aleksandar Knezevic are in Haiti where they are part of the large humanitarian mission of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. They are volunteers in different local Croatian Red Cross branches.

From January 13 by May 3, a total of 5.742.757,00 kuna have been donated by the Croatian citizens, companies, local and regional governments and institutions of which: - 3.881.652,20 kuna have been transferred in favor of the CRC bank account (including 1 million kuna donated by the Croatian Government) - 784.707,00 kuna have been raised by telephone calls - 1.076.397,80 kuna have been raised during the concert "All for Haiti" held in Split on February 10 Thank you for all donations! Croatian Red Cross procured 2.200 kitchen sets whose total value is 95.700,00 euro. Company “Instrumentaria” donated medical products whose value is 29.227,86 euro. Apart from the in kind donations, 200.000,00 euro were transferred to the IFRC in cash. All the remaining funds raised through the appeal shall be transferred to the IFRC either in cash or in kind. XH2O project
|
|
Croatian Red Cross, together with the Austrian Red Cross and Slovenian Red Cross, is conducting a series of Water and Sanitation trainings for volunteers. The project conducted under title XH2O consists of four three-day trainings and a simulation exercise and is co-financed from the EU funds.
